Reiki Classes and Training
When one begins the study of Reiki, it soon becomes apparent that mastery of Reiki might better be represented by a Journey than a Destination, and the proverbial first step in this Journey begins with our first Attunement.
It is fitting that our initiation into each level of Reiki is called an Attunement, because to attune is to adjust . . . to bring into harmony with. With our Reiki Attunements, our perceptions and awareness are adjusted so that we may come into harmony with the Reiki energies. Our Journey, then, becomes one of simply learning to recognized that we are now part of a timeless and ubiquitous energy . . . and always have been!
Another way to think of the attunement process is that we are given the potential to form and develop an energetic connection. The development OF that potential requires mindful, diligent practice by the newly-attuned practitioner . . . and so begins the Journey!
